Kids Spring Break Art Days @ The Creative Studio by Rustic Girl Painting

We are so excited to be able to offer this fun event for kids in our new larger location! Over the 2 days the kids will get to create with 4+ mediums! We will provide a snack, an amazing amount of hands on art projects and all they fun the kids can handle you just need to bring them with a water bottle and clothing that may come home with paint, clay or glaze on it! (Aprons will be provided but out of an abundance of caution we highly recommend old clothing to be worn). Sibling discounts available!

The kids will create 4+ projects (2 a day) one will come home each day, the other 2 see below for pick up times.
-Canvas- Full Size Canvas with a Dragon theme complete with treasures!! Kids will be guided through this along with learning about basic color mixing, paint strokes and brush care
-Ceramic glaze design- We will be making Mini Pokémon (or any other creature they want) and learning about how got glaze and why we do it that way, we will also discuss the process of firing the ceramics. This project will be ready to pick up the following week after we fire it in the kiln.
-Wood Wall Hanging- The kids will get their choice from 12 different designs of wood wall hanging to paint however they desire. This will include popular characters such as Squishmallows, Yoda, Mine Craft and so many more!
-Clay hand built Squishmallows! We will walk through the building of their own design, these will be kept in studio to dry and bisque fired. The item will be ready to pick up 10 days later and they can come in to glaze it and have it fired a second time for no extra charge!

This is a DROP OFF event for kids ages 6-12. With that said we try to be an accessible art studio for all children, if you feel your child would enjoy this and they are in need of additional help, we are absolutely be open to a parent attending with them, PLEASE contact us before you register so we can flag your registration to include an extra seat.
